WHAT IS A PRE-EMERGENT HERBICIDE?
It is a water based herbicide that when sprayed on your landscape creates a weed barrier.
Post herbicides are used to kill existing weeds. Usually a trans- locating herbicide absorbed through the leaves and down to the roots to eliminate the weed.
WHEN SHOULD PRE-EMERGENT BE APPLIED?
Anytime! Applications are limited to twice a year. Weeds grow all year round in Arizona. Just because you may be weed free now does not mean you do not have seeds waiting to germinate.
HOW LONG WILL PRE-EMERGENT LAST?
Jonny's Spray Solutions wants to protect the environment, so we use pre-emergents that will last only 2-5 months in the soil before they degrade or rain has activated the herbicide.
WHAT IF WEEDS APPEAR EVEN AFTER PRE-EMERGENT HAS BEEN APPLIED?
Jonny's Spay Solutions Weed Warranty will perform a MAXIMUM of 1 FREE spot spray visit during a 60 DAY period from date of the pre-emergent application. Spot Sprays after the 60 days will require a $95 service call (Includes up to 10gl of Herbicide)
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE THE APPLICATION?
Make sure fence gates are unlocked. Pets should be inside. Make sure areas to be sprayed do not have excessive leaves and debris hindering the herbicide from getting into the soil. Toys, dog dishes etc should be removed from areas to be sprayed.
